Earlier today, former governor for Kiambu county Fernidand Waititu alias 'Baba Yao' raised sensations online after being spotted with muddy shoes and trousers. He had attended a meeting which was being spearheaded by the deputy president William Ruto and Kirinyaga county governor Anne Waiguru. The meeting was for empowering women in Mathira constituency who showed up in large numbers and all were dressed in yellow.
There were questions as to why Waititu had muddy shoes and trousers and yet the deputy president and other leaders had very clean and neat clothes and shoes. This raised to the allegations that he may have traveled by foot to the function while the rest may have reached the place by plane.
The former governor recently joined the United Democratic Alliance which is being headed by the deputy president but has not yet declared which position he will be vying for in the coming 2022 general elections.
