Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga reveals whom the rulling party had planned to endorse as Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i backs Raila.
Speaking in Nyamira on Friday, 22 October during a fundraising, Raila alleged that the rulling and elite had settled on Matiang'i as Uhuru's successor.
The Cs assured Raila that he will support his 2022 presidential bid. He informed that he will shun silly politics and engage with common good of the people.
" I have sealed a covenant with these people from my home and I have told them publicly that I will be where you and the President are. It is not wise to engage in things that are silly at the expense of these people," Matiang'i stated.
Raila was emotional to be endorsed by government machinery informing that Matiang'i was still young and his light will continue shinning. Raila urged the residents to rally behind Azimio la Umoja campaign for a better Kenya.
