Former prime minister Raila Odinga met a number of Mitumba traders drawn from ten counties of this country where they discussed numerous things affecting this trade in the country.
ODM party leader refuted the allegations circulating on social media accounts indicating that his government will ban the second hands clothes in the country so as to promote local manufacturing.
In his message, Azimio's presidential flag bearer promised to instead strengthen it this trade saying plays a key role in the country.
"Second-hand trade has uplifted so many people in Kenya, my Government will not ban Mitumba but uplift it" said Hon Raila Odinga after the meeting.
It's believed that ODM party leader was trying to clean the mess which happened when he was launching his manifesto. He was heard saying second hand clothes belongs to dead people from abroad.
