Sh9 Billion Corrupt Scandal In The Gov't Leaves Inspector General Commencing Investigation In Uganda

For the last few days, Uganda President Yoweri Museveni has been stressing so much on corruption. That is because in recent days, the corruption cases have been rising rapidly in the country, something that has now forced Museveni to give stern warning to the corrupt leaders.

In the midst of all that, another Shs Billion corruption scandal in President Yoweri Museveni's government has been brought to light. According to the Daily Monitor, the Inspector General of Government Ms Beti Olive Kamya has commenced investigating into the alleged misuse of Sh9 billion by the Ministry of Agriculture officials.

"The Inspector General of Government (IGG), Ms Beti Olive Kamya, has commenced investigations into the alleged misuse of Shs9b by the Ministry of Agriculture officials." Reported the Daily Monitor through their official twitter account.

It is not known whether President Yoweri Museveni will respond to that news or not but definitely, if the officials responsible are found guilty, then they will probably face it rough.
