Which Way Sakaja? Speculations Rife After Nairobi Senator Hosts Samson Cherargei at His Office

With the political transfer window active, leaders are joining political leaders they feel with guarantee them a win in the coming general elections.

Speculations were high on Wednesday December 7 after Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja was spotted hosting his counterpart from Nandi Samson Cherargei at his office.

It is not yet clear whether the senator who is eyeing Nairobi's gubernatorial seat next year will be joining Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) owing to what Cherargei captioned their pictures with on his Twitter account.

"With senator Sakaja Johnson. Chama ni UDA. Form ni bottom up, Slogan ni Kazi Ni kazi. Hustler Nation unstoppable," tweeted Cherargei.

Sakaja has for a while now drummed his support for Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi who is a member of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) while Cherargei has been behind the DP.

This comes few days after another ANC-allied leader Nelson Havi who is eyeing Westlands MPs post joined UDA.

A section of Western Region leaders supporting Raila Odinga's bid claimed that some of the ANC members were working with Ruto, remarks that were dismissed by Mudavadi's camp.
