Through his official Facebook page Mandago wrote " We have amicably agreed to work as a team for a better Uasin Gishu. We invite our supporters to join us and work together as one United Democratic Alliance (UDA) formidable team.Usiweke Siasa kwa roho, weka kwa lungs"
Karori was number two in the just concluded UDA party primaries.
He had petitioned the UDA election board to nullify the elections.
Mandago is currently serving his second term in office as Uasin Gishu governor and he will be carrying the UDA party senatorial flag.
His post recieved mixed reactions here are some of their comments.
Kibor says "You must have paid him a good one. Mandago deserves no place in the leadership of UG. 5 years is not a lot. We shall still send you home a good one,"
Sammy Zulu wrote "You have bought your way... Uasin Gishu will vote independent senator,"
Rono Daniel says " I like your political muscles and seal in you to unite Kenyans for the purpose of winning this election. Congratulations also for leading by example in your county. Youth have something good about you,"
Nyamori says "Karori you have failed us.we wanted this man to go home In peace.we shall vote for any available ,"
Luiz Kipkoech wrote "I have always liked Karori and still do. The future is bright. Winners are those who try and accept the verdict. His representation in the Senate has just been postponed, not called off,"
