The Azimio lawmakers led by the minority leader Opiyo Wandayi and minority whip Junet Mohammed made a mistake of walking out of Parliament while the motion was still on thus the approval of all nominated permanent secretaries by the first in command.
According to the reliable source, the lawmakers today defied the minority protests to approve the PS nominees today in parliament after the minority leader Opiyo Wandayi led the protests in not approving all the nominees. At the same time, their cry was not heard as the speaker of the national assembly hon Moses Wetangula overruled the attempts to stop the approval process.
However, the majority leader Hon Kimani Ichungwa had earlier condemned the move by the minority side terming it as selfishness and not ready to represent the people who elected them. This came after a section of the lawmakers said that the speaker was biased and couldn't listen to their demands as it should be.
