President Ruto, DP Rigathi Gachagua Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi, the speaker of the national assembly Moses Wetangula and various leaders of Kenya Kwanza are holding a thanksgiving prayer in Bomet stadium. Governor Barchok declared that he is ready to support Ruto's government to ensure that they fulfill all the promises they made during the August polls.
However, after welcoming former Bomet Governor Ruto, residents cheered while waving in the air. This is a clear indication that he is still famous in the region. According to the former governor, he alleges that he lost the August polls and he will work with Ruto. He alleges that he has agreed to work with governor Barchok and he will support Ruto's government.
“ mimi nilipatwa na homa kidogo baada ya uchaguzi nikaambiwa Barchok ameshinda. Nilipigia simu na nikamwambia shukrani. Siasa nimeweka kando na nimekubali kufanya kazi na Ruto. Watu wa Bomet wanataka kufanyiwa kazi," former governor Isaac Ruto said.
