Kenyans Have Spotted Changes President Ruto Has Made In State House, Check Out

Image: Courtesy

After rising to power as the fifth president of Kenya, Ruto made changes to the order of Presidential statues that were used during president Uhuru Kenyatta era. From photos shared by state house after Jamhuri celebrations, Ruto reorganised the statues in order of the assumption of the office from independence in 1963 to 2017, from founding president Jomo Kenyatta all the way to Uhuru Kenyatta.

During president Uhuru's era as the president of the country, he used to place his sculpture next to his father's Jomo Kenyatta.

Former president Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi's statues were placed the other side. In addition, since his inception to office, Ruto continued to make changes in his new residence.

Other changes noticed include types of seats used by the head of state to host visitors for various engagements. While Uhuru preferred arm chairs, Ruto prefers wing chairs. However the head of state has maintained a number of interior decors such as cream and patterned seat covers as well as cream curtains.

In the meantime, thank you for reading my article.
