Governor Barchock who took his time to condole with the residents of Siongiroi Ward after he attend the burial ceremony of the late musician Joel Rotich Kipchumbin. He declared that he will allow the construction of Siongiroi KMTC college but he will also focus on uplifting the hospital to become a level four hospital in the county so that the residents could acquire all treatment at that place. He took his time also to camping for his 2022 gubernatorial seat where he revealed that he is ready to face former Bomet governor Isaac Ruto who has revealed that he will be back as the governor.
He was also joined by the former chepalungu MP Savimbi and Johanna Ngeno of Emurwa Dikir who also condole with the family of Joel and declared that they will support Barchock to retain his seat in 2022 polls. Ngeno claimed that he knows very well Ruto but he has been impressed by how the governor has delivered to the people of Bomet county and urge the residents to vote for him.
