The supremacy battle between Raila Odinga and DP Ruto has shaped in the country. During his mega rally in Thika yesterday Raila pulled another huge crowd as he popularised his Azimio La Umoja Movement. Many leaders from the Mount Kenya region showed their support for Raila. On the other hand DP Ruto will today tour Nairobi at Jacaranda Grounds in Embakasi East for a dialogue and intensify his campaign for the Bottom-up economic model.
However, ODM camp has made claims on what Ruto is likely to do during the rally. Philip Etale has alleged that, "At Jacaranda grounds today, we expect nothing but LOADS of matusi after yesterday’s successful rally in Thika. Chairman of Makasiriko International will SPEW venom. He will call Raila Odinga all sorts of names, but does he (Raila) care? He is focused on uniting Kenyans." He believes that Ruto will tell nothing good to the residents but just attack Raila and his supporters.
