Nation Media Group has released an opinion poll to predict who would win the Mombasa gubernatorial election if it were held today.
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, ODM Party's Abdulswamad Nassir, and United Democratic Alliance Party's Senator Hasan Omar will compete for the governorship of Mombasa.
According to a Media Group poll, if elections were held today, Abdulswamad Nassir would receive the highest approval rating of 40% of the total voters.
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko is in second place, with a popularity rating of 33%.
Senator Hasan Omar of the United Democratic Alliance holds a 6% approval rating.
William Kingi of the Pamoja Africa Alliance Party has a 1% popularity rating, while 10% of voters are uncertain.
