Female MPs Who Have Served In Kenya

Some of these female MPs in Kenya include the following.

Hon Ann Wanjiku Kibe who is the first female MP for Gatundu North.The former radio presenter at Kameme FM is a former nominated MCA kiambu county.In August 8 elections she beat former MP Logo Njenga to clinch the seat.

Martha Wangari is the second woman MP and first elected woman MP in Gilgil constituency.

Hon Charity Kathambi Chepkwony is the first female MP for Njoro constituency in Nakuru county.

Aisha Jumwa the former Kilifi county women representative was elected as the first female MP in Malindi.

Dr.Rachel Nyamai is the Kitui South MP, she is currently serving her second term in parliament.

Dr.Lilian Gogo,defied all odds to clinch the ODM party ticket for Rangwe constituency.

Jesca Mbalu was first elected in parliament in 2013 general elections, she managed to retain her Kibwezi East seat in the last general elections.

Naisula Lesuuda she is the first woman to win an elective seat in Samburu. Her political journey started when she was nominated to the senate in 2013.

Millie Odhiambo was nominated by ODM party to the parliament in 2008. She clinched the Mbita parliamentary seat in 2013 elections.she is now the MP for Suba constituency.

Sabina Charge is another female MP who clinched the women representative position in Murang'a county in the last general elections.
