Isaac Mwaura Breaks Silence After His Reinstating To Senate, Says He'll Continue Speaking The Truth

Nominated senator Isaac Mwaura who was expelled from the Jubilee party and later lost his Senate position has been reinstated back in the chamber after the High Court ruling that ordered his reinstating. Mwaura went to court to petition his removal from the ruling Jubilee party after his expulsion, saying it was done in total subversion of the law.

While appearing on a live TV interview today evening, the nominated senator has said that he will not relent in his efforts to speak the truth and fight for the rights of the marginalized groups in Kenya. According go Mwaura, the fact that he and others got privileges to represent the minority groups will not make them eternally grateful to the people who nominated them. Instead, Mwaura says their will exercise their obligation of representing the people and airing their demands as required by the law.

"All of us are paid by taxpayers money, we cannot therefore remain indebted to the people who nominated us. We will continue speaking the truth," Mwaura has said on a TV interview.
