Veronica Maina made it clear that she is not against Matiangi, Munya and all the other Cabinet Secretaries from engaging in politics but only wants them to resign and do so outside government. The secretary General has made it clear she cannot allow people who will be party to elections take political sides.
Maina is clear we cannot allow Cabinet Secretaries to engage themselves in politics yet they are sitting in key offices that are involved elections management. She has responded to Munya and Wamalwa for saying they will play politics inside government.
Maina is clear they will not go into the next elections with Matiangi, Mucheru and Wamalwa engaging in politics and openly taking sides. According to her, IEBC must ensure we have a credible electoral process failure to which they will use other means to kick the out from office.
