President Uhuru Kenyatta's powerful Mt. Kenya Cabinet Secretary was forced to take a back seat after angry residents told him off over claims that DP Ruto will investigate Uhuru should he wins in the August polls.
According to the Star, Munya claimed to the locals in Meru that DP William Ruto is planning to throw Uhuru in prison if he wins the August elections a claim that did not go well with the residents of Tigania East residents.
The locals protested, saying that the claims are false and Ruto's manifesto does not say so. They said that it was propaganda.
