Chris Wamalwa Brings Kitale to a Stand Still as he Campaigns For Ruto

The Kenya Kwanza Alliance campaigned in Kitale Town on Friday as Kiminini member of parliament Chris Wamalwa sought support from the populace for both his ambition for governor and that of Deputy President William Ruto for the State House.

Residents raised Wamalwa's campaign posters in the air as they welcomed him, who is running for governor of Trans Nzoia under the Ford Kenya party.

He was seen enjoying the music and waving to the locals from the top of his automobile because he was unable to resist.

Wamalwa pleaded with voters to elect him as their next governor, promising to boost the county's economy by seeing to it that all of Governor Patrick Khaemba's unfinished projects are finished and that new ones be launched.

Additionally, he said that the Mulembe Community was safe and content in the Kenya Kwanza Camp because they had respected the Ruto-led squad.

The Democratic Action Party of Kenya, DAP-K, which is backing Raila Odinga as president under the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance banner, and former Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya will compete for the seat.
