President William Ruto seems to have made a u-turn over his camp's pledge to form a commission which is purported to probe 2022 august presidential election.
Upon swearing in, William Ruto has promised to form a special commission of inquiry to investigate what he termed as state capture and rogue attempts which nearly overturned the country into caps during the presidential election period.
However speaking in a round table with media on Wednesday, President William Ruto revealed that his administration has other more priorities and won't proceed with their initial plan of knowing the truth.
Ruto's sudden u-turn comes off when his Kenya Kwanza camp has already purged IEBC Vice-Chairperson Juliana Cherera and other commissioners namely Irene Masit, Francis Wanderi and Justus Nyang'aya.
The four dissenting IEBC commissioners disowned presidential results in favor of Raila Odinga with reports revealing they were trying to force a re-run.
Ruto further cited that even military personnel were employed just to stop him from winning the presidency, a move he termed as state capture.
Ideally, I agree with president William Ruto. The country is facing a difficult moment and it will be astonishing to see him revisit past events instead of dealing with main issues that are facing kenyans.
Meanwhile, let's wait and see what happens next.
