Leaders are realigning themselves to ensure they ascend to power in 2022 general election. The deputy president Honourable William Ruto and his allies have formed the Untied Democratic Alliance party (UDA). They are planning to use the party since they were denied an audience in Jubilee Party. They are busy marketing the party to ensure it attain the national status.
Dr Khalwale is one of the key pillars in UDA. He is leading membership registration exercise. So far he is doing well. The party has started identifying aspirants who are eying for various political seat across the country from the MCAs to the governotorial seats. Dr Khalwale has expressed his interest in vying for the governortorial seats in Kakamega county through UDA ticket.
However, his desire to seek for the governortorial seat in Kakamega county has attracted negative criticism from Kenyans online. They are saying his desire and interest is dead on arrival. They are saying that he will not make as longer as he is supporting William Ruto in UDA party. They advised him to join Musalia Mudavadi if he want to win the governortorial seat.
