President Uhuru Kenyatta has been keen to understand Ruto-Raila political relationship for different reasons. The president is already aware that the two leaders are political heavyweights a reason he would strongly want to understand their political engagement.
Uhuru Kenyatta as well has severally said that he will have a hand on who succeeds him in 2022 a reason he has keenly followed Ruto-Raila politics. Uhuru Kenyatta is also in an handshake with Raila Odinga a reason he would not want to see him join DP Ruto as that will heavily complicate matters BBI given DP Ruto is one of the biggest critics of BBI.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is also following Ruto-Raila Political engagement to understand how to manage matters 2022 as clearly the two leaders are heavy players in that election. Therefore for this reasons Uhuru Kenyatta will continue to follow Ruto-Raila Political relationship to understand a little more.
As well Uhuru Kenyatta coming from central Kenya one of the biggest voting constituency does not want to leave the region exposed politically as he probably wants to leave them bring part and parcel of the next government. It's for this reason that he is closely looking at the political scheme of things between his deputy William Ruto and Raila Odinga for the fact reason they are the only frontrunners in matters 2022.
