
President William Ruto today chaired a meeting with government officers and the development partners in matters managing the drought situation in the country. The president is keen to address the draught situation in the country by ensuring food distribution gets to the most affected.

President Ruto has already mobilized resources to send food in major parts of the country. President Ruto has expressed of his commitment to ensure issues of concern to the country are fully effected.
The president has already spoken candidly about the cost of food in the country. The government has moved quickly to spreading food to the affected region where majority Kenyans have died of hunger and drought.
