United Democratic Alliance (UDA) held it's primaries on Saturday, 26th November 2022, to fill vacant positions in Kandara & Elgeiyo Marakwet.
William Kisang has emerged the winner in the UDA party primaries to replace Former Elgeiyo Marakwet County Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.
Murkomen has broken silence after the UDA candidate won the race to replace him in the Senate, congratulating Kisang on his nomination and congratulated the other candidates who put up a spirited fight and performed exemplarily.
"Congratulations Hon. William Kisang on your nomination as the UDA flag bearer for the upcoming Senatorial by-elections in Elgeyo Marakwet County. Congratulations also to all the other candidates who put up a spirited fight and performed exemplarily," Murkomen said.
He has urged the politicians who participated in the primaries to join hands as a family and recognize that competition prepares them for service delivery in their various duty stations.
"Let’s now move forward together as one indivisible family knowing that competition makes us strong together as it prepares us for service in our various capacities and different duty stations," he added.
