Kiambu Governor Hon Kimani Wamatangi has blamed Former County Boss Hon James Nyoro when he claimed that he is the one peddling fake news to create a perception there is a crisis in Kiambu while at the same time pushing MCAs to remove him from office over what he termed as inconsequential reasons.
Speaking on Thursday as reported by Kenyans.co.ke, the Kiambu Governor further added that he has sat and agreed to work with MCAs for the good of Kiambu Locals while at the same time urging Kenyans to desist from being fed Fake News.
"Those are teething problems within the county government given its new regime. There is not much to it.
"It was just a misunderstanding of how the law is applied and that has been made very clear. I intend to ensure my experience from the senate to ensure that we are a law-abiding government," Waitangi.
Earlier, MCAs stormed his office demanding to know why he wasn't disbursed County Bursaries.
