According to Malala, the three Cabinet Secretaries have been involved in the support of Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Odinga towards the Presidential race.
Malala has reffered to the event that took place in Nyamira yesterday where Raila Odinga was supported by CS Matiangi towards the 2022 General elections. Matiangi said that he would support only somebody that has been pointed out by the president rather than somebody who is hypocritical.
Malala has asked the the three to step our of their Cabinet positions so that other may replace them. Malala Argued that the constitution spells out that Cabinet Secretaries should not be involved in politics while in office and thereby they were disregarding the Kenyan constitution.
"Cabinet Secretaries Hon. @FredMatiangi, Hon. @EugeneLWamalwa and @MOH_Kenya CS Hon. Mutahi Kagwe should step aside from their positions for directly participating in the campaigns of @RailaOdinga, a political candidate in the forthcoming 2022 elections whilst still in office",Malala mentioned.
