Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC yesterday called meeting with all the four presidential candidates including Azimio La Umoja One coalition leader Raila Odinga, Kenya Kwanza alliance leader William Ruto, Roots party leader Prof Gorge Wajackoyah and Agano party leader David Mwaure Waihiga. IEBC expected to discuss key information with presidential candidates in an open and transparent meeting where no one will be left behind.
Raila and Karua arrived earlier at the meeting and when deputy president William Ruto later arrived they both left the meeting and it has been perceived differently by many. Some are thinking that the two didn't agreed with IEBC and that why they left. It was the best move for IEBC to call all the presidential candidates so that they can clarify everything that was omitted.
Kenyans have confidence in IEBC to ensure that the upcoming August 9 general elections will be free and fair and that they do not expect what happened in 2017 where elections were nullified. Leave your comments below and kindly follow for more updates.
