Waiguru Reveals Presidential Candidate Popular In MT. Kenya

Kirinyaga governor, Ann Waiguru, stormed media houses and social media revealing the most popular presidential candidate in Mt. Kenya region.

Many presidential candidates including Ruto, Raila and OKA principals are considered to be the main horses in the much anticipated 2022 election.

According to Waiguru, William Samoei Ruto is the most popular and most loved presidential candidate in Mt. Kenya region.

While certifying her point, Waiguru said Ruto connects more with the youth. "You see, the reason Ruto is very popular in Mt. Kenya is that he connects with the youth. They even say the emotion and passion that anatufeel."

While she talked about the Building Bridges Initiative, Waiguru said Ruto was present with his people while Raila Odinga and the OKA principals were busy selling the BBI and handshake to Kenyans.

"In the last four years when those guys were going around the country selling the BBI and the handshake, Ruto camped there and was present. He connected with them. She said.

However, Waiguru, laughed off sections of politicians and people who are planning to use tribal lines to deliver votes to their preferred candidates next year. Waiguru said the youth of the current generation don't believe in tribal politics anymore. She further added that the tribal politics were now out of fashion in the current Kenya.

"Those who are planning succession, think that if they get somebody from Mt. Kenya they will carry the votes to either Raila or Ruto. They are wrong. People are no longer beholden to tribes. The young generation has upset that arithmetic. Young people are telling us that this time round they will be ones to tell us where to go," Waiguru added.

Governor Ann waiguru, is serving in the office for the first term and is seeking to contest for the same post in the 2022 election.
