President Uhuru Kenyatta has been silent for a long time while his political backyard is being divided. He has completely focused on his main agenda and the legacy. This has raised viable questions across the country on what is his take on the current political scene. His deputy has taken this advantage and hit the ground for more votes.
Uhuru Kenyatta has been nicknamed the 'chess master' by a number of political analysts. This owes to his skill of silencing opposition or rebellion from his area of influence. Kenyatta has managed to cool the opposition and work with them for the betterment of the country. At the same time he restored order by one meeting in Sagana.
What most people are not expecting is the president to rally the Mount Kenya region as one unit towards supporting a particular candidate. This can be understood by the current chaos and confusion being experienced. Uhuru knows very well the nature of his people and he might use it to his advantage.
After William Ruto has done all and dusted his energy and skills in the region Uhuru will pull a surprise move. This will happen in a few months to the election or just weeks. This is by calling to order all the leaders and assuring them benefits under the regime of his preferred candidate. The timing will be done so as not to give Ruto time to polarize the community again.
