UDA Politician Steps Down From Parliamentary Race In Saboti Constituency.

As we keep moving closer to the next General elections,Political parties are busy assembling line ups to face their opponents.

Coalitions are putting strategies in place to ensure they emerge victorious with mojarity seats in both houses including Senate,Parliament and County assemblies.

In the past few weeks, many politicians have been stepping down in favour of others especially in Kenya Kwanza,We saw Bonny Khalwale abandoning Kakamega Gubernatorial race in favour of Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.

In Sabot Constituency,it has emerged that Jonas Kuko who was number two in previous elections behind current parliamentarian Caleb has shelved his parliamentarian ambitions in favour of Benard Wambwa who is currently serving as an MCA for Tuwani ward.

Steeping down of Kuko to Wambwa was revealed by Joseph Pepela who is also a member of Kenya Kwanza but on a Ford Kenya ticket. Pepela welcomed a move by Kuko to support Wambwa and said that people of Sabot had options to choose from within Kenya Kwanza alliance.

Sabot,Constituency race has attracted so many aspirants from different parties.DAP K will be represented by either Zakari Nangulu or Wafula Lazaro, nominations will decide. Pepela will be running on a Ford Kenya ticket while the current parliamentarian will be seeking to retain his service on an ODM ticket. Let's wait and see if Kuko's stepping down will add value to UDA in Sabot or it will strengthen Ford Kenya as the two parties are partners of Kenya Kwanza.
