Kuria Unveils His Next Move As IEBC Disqualifies His Party's Candidate for Kiagu Ward By-election

The Jubilee member of parliament for Gatundu South Hon. Moses Kuria has gone public to express his disappointment following the decision by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to disqualify his candidate for Kiagu Ward byelection.

Kuria through his social media platforms has noted that he will be heading to court first thing on Friday 24th September, to challenge the decision by the IEBC.

Kuria's candidate, Milton Mwenda Kabobo was disqualified following a petition by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party coordinator for South Imenti Salesio Mutuma Thuranira.

"We are dissatisfied with this decision and we will move to the court first thing tomorrow morning to challenge this decision," Moses Kuria said.

The IEBC however, allowed Moses Kuria Chama Cha Kazi to submit another candidate to replace the disqualified Milton Mwenda.

Moses Kuria is one of the Mount Kenya top politicians who have vowed never to fold their parties to join the United Democratic Alliance of the deputy president William Ruto ahead of 2022 polls.
