With less than 40 days to the next general election in Kenya, political temperature in the county continues to rise. Top politicians who are battling to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta are seeking for new tactics each day so as to get votes come August 9.
Today, DP Ruto visited the central region that is Tharaka Nithi County together with his deputy who is also Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua and other popular politicians who are allied to Kenya Kwanza.
However, DP Ruto was not accompanied by the so called Luhya Kingpins that is Amani National Congress ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya party leader that is Moses Wetangula. Instead, they took the Hustler Narrative to Kakamega county where they interacted with the residents and urged them to vote for Kenya Kwanza which is headed by DP Ruto.
Kenya Kwanza's political rivals, Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance that is headed by Raila were never left back. Raila was leading the Azimio's rally in Siaya county in Nyanza Region. Normally, Nyanza region is usually referred as his bedroom since majority of people there usually votes for him. On the other side, Raila's running mate that is Martha Karua was seeking votes for Raila in Nyandarua.
