Owing to shifting political winds in Mount Kenya region,Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has officially dumped President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party in favor of Deputy President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance.
It was only a matter of time before Anne left Jubilee as he had protested earlier this month that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) was being used to stifle her concerns about Jubilee's future.
But now according t the reports, just hours after Waiguru joined DP Ruto's camp, DP Ruto is facing a big headache.
Purity Ngirici, the Kirinyaga Women Representative has also announced that she will be running for Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat and since Waiguru has joined UDA,the differences between Waiguru and Ngirici could engineer a fallout with Ngirici walking out of DP Ruto's UDA.
It will be waited to be seen who will eventually capture the Kirinyaga UDA gubernatorial ticket between Anne Waiguru and Ngirici, and if one of them will move out of UDA if she fails to secure the ticket.
