Former Kamkunji Parliamentary candidate and current Azimio politician Alinur Mohamed trolled Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni, on his official Twitter account.
He boasted, "Lt.Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni, should know that I can buy the complete Ugandan army and pay them for 10 years."
The lawmaker made this remark after Muhoozi Kainerugaba threatened to take Nairobi in two weeks using his army.
Yet, some Kenyans took to social media to express their disappointment that Mr. Alinur Muhamed had not been elected to represent Kamkunjo in parliament.
According to official records, the political candidate Alinur Muhamed was prevented from running for office by Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance on the grounds of zoning, and the party instead nominated Hon.Yusuf Hassan Abdi to run in the election on their ticket.
Subsequently, Hon.Yusuf was elected and is now serving as the Kamkunji Member of Parliament.
