Budget Committee Chairperson and Kieni MP Kanini Kega, was on monday morning invited to vernercular television station Inooro Tv for the Inooro Rucini show. Kanini Kega invitation by vernacular media personality Kamau wa Kang'ethe to discuss matters concerning Jubilee party and national politics.
The Kieleweke member Kanini Kega, on the show asked Mt Kenya region leaders and supporters not to lose their trust with Jubilee party. He even went ahead to beg them not to abandon Jubilee party that is fully under control of the government right now.
Kanini Kega was begging his mountain region leaders not to abandon Jubilee simply because three Jubilee leaders from Mt Kenya region decamped to DPs wing UDA. They include; Kiambu women representative Gathoni Wamuchomba, MP Gabriel Kago and Nakuru East MP David Gikaria.
These leaders decamped from Jubilee's Kieleweke faction straight to DP Ruto's camp. The move came amid romours that Jubilee party was conducting talks with ODM of a possible merger. Kanini Kega has however remained deeply rooted to Jubilee party even as several Mt Kenya leaders are said to be waiting for campaigns to kick off so that they can also decamp to Ruto's wing UDA.
