DP Ruto Comes up With a New Plan to Counter Martha Karua Effect Ahead of Upcoming polls

Deputy president Dr. William Samoei Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza troops on Monday toured Murang'a county in Central Kenya to popularize his August presidential bid as well as his bottom-up economic model to residents. Dp Ruto looks to solidify his Mt Kenya base where he enjoys big support.

While addressing residents of Murang'a, Kiharu Member of Parliament Hon Ndindi Nyoro revealed how DP Ruto wants to attract more women to the Kenya Kwanza coalition ahead of the upcoming polls. The second in command wants to counter Azimio la Umoja's decision to settle on a woman as the Deputy President.

According to Ndindi Nyoro, DP Ruto has promised to appoint 50 percent of his government to women. Nyoro added that DP Ruto and Kenya Kwanza love women so much and 50 percent of government will be allocated to them. This is one way of neutralizing the Marther Karua effect when Raila settled on the opposite gender to attract more votes to the Azimio coalition.

"We respect our mothers, we respect our women. Being led by our President William Samoei Ruto, 50 percent of cabinet posts and the government of Kenya Kwanza will be allocated to women because women of Kenya know how to lead and also, they are leaders" . he said

This comes after Azimio la Umoja coalition slammed the Kenya Kwanza brigade for disrespecting women after they launched political attacks on Martha Karua.
