Azimio supporters have now expressed doubts about the file format of form 34As provided by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
According to Azimio, the KIEMS Kits scan image files using the format JPEG, without any option for changing the output of the scan. "How did they change to a black and white pdf file?" Alai has asked.
The CEO and Managing Director of East Africa Data Handlers, George Njoroge has further raised concerns about the digital signatures. According to the tech guru, the Kits have the capabilities to generate digital signatures of the results from polling stations and embed the signatures on the scanned results form.
