Former Kakamega County Wycliffe Oparanya has broken silence to clear the air on claims of ditching Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga after he was recently spotted in an ODM meeting in Naivasha.
Oparanya has explained that he has never said that he is no longer in Raila's ODM party, adding that he is in ODM to stay.
The ODM Deputy party leader has said that he is in ODM to stay and Raila remains his leader whom he can't be separated from.
He has further stated that the claims of ditching ODM are but rumours which were started by agents who are against the opposition.
"I have never said I am no longer in ODM. I am in ODM to stay. Raila is my party leader and we have been best friends. This is a rumor which was started by agents who are against the opposition." Former Governor Wycliffe Oparanya said.
