DP Ruto Alleges Plans To Block KKA From Holding Campaign Rallies, Even As Court Allow Use Of Nyayo

As Kenya gears up for a highly contested general elections, Kenya Kwanza Alliance team led by UDA presidential candidate has cried foul of allegations of plans to stop the from holding their final rallies.

According to reports by Radio Maisha, UDA presidential candidate William Ruto has claimed that there are comprehensive plans to block the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team from holding their scheduled final rallies ahead of the August nineth general elections.

The reports did not however state the people or institutions behind the allegations by the deputy president.

This comes just moments after a court made a ruling on the use of Nyayo Stadium for the final rallies on 6th August, 2022. According to reports by KTN News, the High Court in Nairobi has pronounced itself and awarded the venue to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team, settling the tussle between the Ruto-led alliance and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance team under the leadership of ODM leader Raila Odinga.
