The DP, recently named his running mate in Mathira Member of Parliament Rigathi Gachagua who is this afternoon in Nandi County for the Economic Forum that has been organized by United Democratic Alliance party.

The Deputy President is in Nyandarua County where he is making rounds and appealing to the locals to give him their votes in the upcoming General Elections.

His closest competitor, Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, is in Western Kenya where he is solidifying his base as this has always been seen as his turf.

According to a clip from Standard Media this afternoon, while the Deputy President was addressing the crowd in Nyandarua County at a place known as Kinangop, a supporter kept blowing his trumpet at every chance he got.

The visibly irritated Deputy President asked the man to stop blowing his trumpet as this was not the judgement day as has been mentioned in the bible.

He asked the man to stop rushing them towards judgement day with his trumpet as they were not there just yet.

The man went on to keep quiet as The Deputy President of Kenya addressed the enthusiastic crowd gathered.
