We have less than 80 days to the general elections. Political rallies are hitting up in the country and especially in the Mt. Kenya region. Both Raila Odinga and William Ruto want to sell their parties and agendas in the region which boosts of a high number of registered voters.
Ruto has seen his choice to name Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate questioned. Some say that it was a mistake and other simply think that Raila Odinga did a better job at choosing Martha Karua. Some news sources have even had it that the Kenya kwanza party is considering dropping Gachagua.
The integrity Alliance has had their say forwarded to the IEBC. According to them, a few politicians should not be allowed to vie because of their history. One is Gachagua, the running mate of William Ruto. Sonko and Anne Waiguru have also been involved in corruption allegations and according to Integrity Alliance, they should not be allowed to vie for any political seat.
