Nyamira county is one of the stronghold of the former prime minister Raila Odinga. As time towards the election is getting closer, different politicians in different seats are launching there ambitions.
Today at Viongozi area in Nyamira, former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire is launching his gubernatorial ambitions to the people. Timothy Bosire holds a position in the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party and is one of the diehard supporter of Raila Odinga.
Timothy Bosire is expected to run using the ODM ticket. He is likely to battle in the ballot with the incumbent governor Amos Nyaribo who is on his first term and Borabu member of Parliament Ben Momanyi who has shown big interest in the seat and other many aspirants from all walks of the county.
This comes some days after the incumbent governor Amos Nyaribo showed interest in joining Azimio la umoja when he was present in the meeting with Raila in Naivasha.
