The deputy president William Ruto is expected to go back to the drawing board. This is after Raila Odinga made a series of tours around the vote rich Mount Kenya region. His rallies have seen him being embraced by the people and this worries the deputy president. Ruto has top political strategists in his camp.
Ruto is known to be a man who is very unlikely to retaliate. He is very determined to gain votes and become the president of this country. This ambition will see him deploy more grassroot leaders to mobilize people to vote for him. He has proved to be good at the grassroot level.
His hustler narrative seems to be failing after several politicians shot it down. This will make him look for another slogan which will be more reasonable to the voters. Some political analysts pointed a mistake of introducing his slogan very early. This has a negative effect when people become too accustomed to it.
The deep state has united to ensure he is locked out of state capture. This is why they met to ensure that Raila Odinga secures their interests once he is elected to power.
