Wycliffe Oparanya to Deputise Raila Odinga?

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader and the former prime minister Raila Odinga has received a big blow from western region leaders. According to the report, the western region leaders have issued demand to Raila Odinga, want the Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya to deputise him.

The Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya is among the political aspirants that abandoned their presidential ambitions to support the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga.

The demand comes when the former prime minister Raila Odinga is yet to announce his running mate.

In addition, the western leaders' demand comes after the Mt. Kenya leaders allied to Raila Odinga demanded that Raila Odinga should pick his running mate from the Mt Kenya region.

Do you think Raila Odinga should succumb to western leaders'demand?

However, the ODM chief Raila Odinga has not revealed where he will pick his deputy. Though it is now clear that he will be on ballot come 2022.
