Hon. Kimani Wamatangi, the Kiambu County Boss, has explained why the Kiambu Legislature is threatening to remove the officials from office.
Amos Kariuki, the head of the majority in Meru County, a few days ago. He charged Wamatangi of discharging the MCA and neglecting his obligations.
Speaking with Trevor Ombija this morning on Citizen TV. Wamatangi claimed that the MCAs had developed a new method of blackmailing governors and threatening to impeach them if they refuse to accept bribes. "We are aware of the tricks these MCAs are pulling. However, we won't tolerate this kind of nonsense."
"There are a total of 86 MCAs in Kiambu County. However, if you question them today about their respective Wards. In reality, they have done nothing."
"accuse me of ignoring them, but the reason is that I am familiar with their Politricks. Furthermore, if you offer them room to work with you, they will, especially if they ask for money frequently. That is not where I am ready."
