The Opinion poll done by the former Kakamega senator Dr Boni Khalwale shows that the Amani National Congress ANC Party leader Honorable Musalia Mudavadi can best become the Deputy President William Ruto's running mate in the next general elections than when he runs for presidency either using his party ticket or the One Kenya Alliance ticket.
By percentage, Musalia's option to be DP Ruto's running mate is 37% while running for presidency stands at 17%. However, the results are not official since it is an online poll.
Musalia Mudavadi who is one of the Principals making up the OKA coalition has maintained that he must be on the ballot in the next general elections and has vowed not to support ODM Party leader Raila Odinga and DP Ruto. Musalia has been also criticizing DP Ruto urging him to resign from the office following the conflicts with President Uhuru Kenyatta. This is a clear indication that he is not ready to deputize Ruto.
