According to the star paper today, the calls by the bishops for top leaders and handshake between Uhuru and Ruto is something hidden in secrecy. It's believed the president might be behind the calls behind the curtains after being advised that deep state cannot stop Ruto moving into 2022 for he was leading in all polls.
According to the star, Uhuru might have realized his mistakes of putting Ruto aside for he has failed terribly in his second term. Ruto however is adamant of such a call for that would reduce his popularity given he might be forced to carry the baggage of the jubilee administration especially in the second term that he was highly edged out.
According to the star, state operatives have come to realize that stopping William Ruto is a tall order. They are now seeking to bring him close after hitting a rock bottom especially after realizing Raila Odinga cannot get the support of the Mt Kenya region.
The deep state are said to be in panic mode for all intelligence polls show Ruto as lethal and completely unstoppable. They seem to fear of the consequences if Ruto formed the next government while in such bad terms with the president for he could also decide to hurt him or send him into exile just like the former opposition member Miguna who is struggling abroad.
