This article focuses on the political tangles in Homa-Bay County.
Demand to know who will win Homa-Bay Gubernatorial Seat remains a challenge to the whole Homa-Bay County. The notion of political inheritance is expected to be made. People think that sooner or later the current Homa-Bay Governor Syprian Awiti may decide to endorse either of the candidates.
However, in the last general election, 2017, among the contestants, Hon. Oyugi Magwanga, emerged at the second position. He was not convinced with the general election's outcome, therefore, he went ahead to appeal and demand for justice and fairness.
Finally, Court ruling concerning the claims of Hon. Oyugi Magwanga never went in favor of his wish. Rumors had it that Hon. Oyugi Magwanga's popularity would place him at a better position when it comes 2022 next general election.
Notably, majority now shift from there previous stand. The shift tends to support former Nairobi Governor Dr. Evance Kidero.
