Sonko Threatens To Mobilize Sakaja's Impeachment After Rule Of Closing Night Clubs And Other Laws

Nairobi governor Johnstone Sakaja has received controversial opinions from different people ever since he started enacting laws that would govern the activities and people of Nairobi. One law that was not received well was the closure of night clubs. Apparently, many people work at night the same way some work during daytime. For clubs, we have bartenders, DJs, waiters among other people and all of them have sacrificed their sleep so that they can give food and best life to their family members. Closure of night clubs means that they'll lack jobs and families will suffer. Now, this has been a matter of discussion and at some point Nairobi MCAs tried to stop the law in favor of residents but Sakaja was so firm about the rule claiming they're making noise for people who have school going kids. Apparently, today Sonko spoke out and he threatened to mobilize and ask Kenyans to provide enough signatures that would impeach Mr. Sakaja. Mike Sonko revealed that Sakaja has taken law into his hands and he is just doing things that favor him and cartels not minding other Nairobi residents. Sonko said that the law is very clear that even if politicians have other politicians on their side, Kenyans can decide to impeach them if their work does not benefit netizens.
