Rigathi Gachagua asks DP Ruto for 50 percent share of his government in the event he wins presidency

Kenya Kwanza deputy presidential candidate Rigathi Gachagua on Friday asked DP Ruto for a 50 per cent share of his government to the Mt Kenya region in the event he wins the presidency.

Addressing congregants in Embu on Friday selling Kenya Kwanza Alliance trickle down economic model, Gachagua asked the people of Embu to deliver their votes to DP Ruto so that they can be given 50 percent share of Ruto's government.

"DP Ruto's presidency will be determined by the percentage of from Mount Kenya. Therefore, we should get out in large numbers and vote for DP Ruto," he said.

The Mathira lawmaker from the time Wiper Party leader Musalia Mudavadi applied for a 30 per cent share and is fighting tirelessly to get it, the Mt Kenya region should back Ruto for presidency.

Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula promised to bring 70 per cent of the Western votes in order to have a 30 per cent share of Ruto's government.
