Members of Parliament who are affiliated with the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance have been called to appear before the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga.
The meeting will lay the groundwork for the planned demonstrations that the former Prime Minister intends to stage in order to defend the four Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioners.
It has been brought to light, however, that some members of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance are opposed to the demonstrations that are scheduled to be held by the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party.
According to our sources, the Kenya African National Union (KANU) party is opposed to the planned demonstration, while Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Democratic Party has already supported the protests against Ruto.
Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio la Umoja party, has announced that he will hold rallies across the country to engage the public on the issue of the removal of Juliana Cherera from her position as Vice Chair of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Raila stated on Sunday, November 27, while he was speaking in Kisumu county that the rallies will begin in the major cities in Kenya and will spread to other towns over the course of the week.
