National Assembly Speaker Honourable Moses Wetangula has joined other top government officials to congratulate East African Legislative Assembly( EALA) members of parliament who were sworn into office today. The swearing in ceremony was conducted in Arusha,Tanzania the headquarters of East African Community.The East African Community consist of 7 countries, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi,Congo and South Sudan.
The EALA MPs were elected a month ago by the parliament.Those sworn in today include top politician children, Raila's daughter Winnie Odinga who dressed stylishly for her swearing in and Kalonzo Musyoka's son, Kennedy Musyoka Kalonzo.
Moses Wetangula wished them the very best as their represent the concerns of Kenyans in every role they play such as playing the role of oversight, representation and legislation at the Regional Legislative Assembly.
Kenyans have high hopes that all those elected in those positions will serve them diligently, transparently and represent their needs at all cost despite being chosen from different parties. They should work as one to serve Kenyans.
